From the recording Blue Eyed Boy (10th Anniversary Remaster)
One of my own most favourite tracks. The sense of being 'there' was strong when I wrote and recorded the original track in one afternoon.
For this version I remixed from scratch and added new instrumentation (glass bells!) to support the melody and keep it interesting. Winterlake doesn't exist, but we've all been there in our dreams.
I also remember working on a cover version of Carly Simon's ''Right Thing To Do'' the very same evening.
I was quite prolific back in those days. By time I put out the first record I had another two albums ready to go! Had to parse them out over a year or so.
