From the recording Blue Eyed Boy (10th Anniversary Remaster)
True story. It's verbatim the journey of myself and my second cousin, Chris Carry (yes, true) who within two weeks had decided to leave Ireland and go to NYC. I was lucky to have had such a good guy as a companion. I was horribly immature (early 20's) and there's times I must have driven him completely mad. I look back at that with much regret and gratitude.
