"Ghosts" - The Song
In one respect the song "Ghosts" started off on a rumination around a painting I'd done a few years ago, also called "Ghosts". I started riffing with the guitar one afternoon while hooked up to the recording gear, and I looked for some dissonance in the sound, eventually settling for what you hear here.
I tend to work pretty fast once I get an idea going and had the whole track recorded in about 15 minutes. The words came to me as I looked at that painting and the lyrics appeared quickly after that.
Sub text here is likely illness related, but I'm still not 100% sure!!
